Protecting your Village Hall

You can cover the buildings and contents with a Material Damage policy. The policy will cover damage to buildings and/or contents for repair or reinstatement and includes:

All Risks

All Risks insurance may be added to your policy if required. It is for items taken out of the premises, such as trophies or laptops, and items permanently out in the open such as fixed play equipment. It is a comprehensive cover meaning all risks are insured such as loss, theft and damage. It is on a new for old basis so long as sums insured are adequate.

Business Interruption

As well as protecting your property and contents you can also protect against the additional costs or loss of income that can occur as a result of damage to buildings and contents with

Business Interruption insurance. For example:

Trustee and Trust Fund Indemnity Insurance

Trustee and Trust Indemnity insurance protects you if your Trustees or Committee members are alleged to have acted wrongly in their duty towards your organisation or if there is a breach of trust in accordance with your governing document (constitution). This insurance covers:

Hirers’ Liability

If you hire your Hall to individuals or small groups who do not have their own public liability insurance you may wish to provide Hirers’ Liability insurance cover.
